Bakersmate is involved in many Local Empowerment Projects designed to uplift disadvantaged communities by means of supplying LOW COST Community Bakeries and providing Professional Training in bread baking to the community members:
Enable communities to create employment, provide training skills in baking.
The aim is to produce fresh quality bread at an affordable price to their local communities.
As well as South Africa, many of these bakeries have also been supplied and installed in other African countries such as Malawi, Cameroon, DRC, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Angola.
